Getting to the airport on time is the one part of a trip you cannot afford to get wrong. A pre-booked Sydney Airport drop off with a chauffeur removes the guesswork: no parking, no shuttle buses and no hunting for a ride at 4am.

How early should you arrive?

Airlines set their own check-in and bag-drop deadlines, so always check your airline's advice. As a general guide, many travellers aim to arrive around three hours before an international flight and one to two hours before a domestic flight. Add extra time in school holidays and around long weekends, when terminals are at their busiest.

When should you leave home?

Sydney traffic is the big variable. Morning and afternoon peaks on the M4, M5, WestConnex, Southern Cross Drive and around Mascot can add a lot of time to the trip. When you request a quote, tell us your flight time and we will suggest a sensible pickup time based on your suburb, the time of day and the day of the week.

T1 International or T2/T3 Domestic?

International flights depart from T1. Domestic flights depart from T2 (Virgin Australia, Jetstar and others) or T3 (Qantas domestic). The international and domestic precincts are on opposite sides of the airport, so double-check your terminal on your booking before you travel. Your chauffeur will drop you at the departures kerb for your terminal.

Why a chauffeur beats driving yourself

  • No parking costs or long-stay shuttles to worry about.
  • Door-to-kerb service with help loading your luggage.
  • A confirmed pickup time, booked in advance, rather than hoping a ride is available.
  • Space for everyone, from a sedan for one to an 11-seat minibus for groups.

Early-morning flights

First-wave departures mean leaving home in the dark. Booking a chauffeur the day before (or earlier) means you can set one alarm and know your car will be there. It is one of the most common reasons customers book our airport transfers.

Flying from Western Sydney?

With Western Sydney International Airport opening, some travellers will have a second choice of airport. Read our Western Sydney Airport guide to see which suits your trip.
